Zine delivery in Olympia/Chehalis, Centralia:
Travel to our distro locations to take inventory and deliver the zines. Must have a vehicle and a preferred method of taking inventory, and be able to share it with admin.
Zine Printing:
Must have a printer capable of two-sided printing in color (we have been using EcoTank), and be able to send and receive email pdfs and print from them. We do not use the library.
Zine Publishing:
You will receive a stapler and supplies of staples and rubber bands for stapling, folding, and bundling the zines to prepare for delivery.
Transcript Editing:
Must be able to send and receive emails. You will use Open AI/ChatGPT, and use our specific instructions and tailor them to accommodate each new interview. More detailed instructions will be given in orientation. The transcript will then be sent to the Production Lead for approval who will send it to our team member who creates the PDFs.
Social Media Management:
You must have a device where you can access social media, and be able to send and receive texts or emails. You will be given access to the Pathways to Agency Facebook and Instagram accounts and post regular updates on the next Resource Report airing, the next interview coming up, zine deliveries going out, general promotion of Pathways to Agency and Resource Report, and pitching for donations and sponsorships.
Outreach:
Positions on this team can include flyer distribution, social media management, newsletter writing, and scheduling interviews tabling events, and taking surveys, and can be done on zine delivery, as well. If you are a good communicator, you can also network with individuals at places you leave flyers/zines, and pitch Resource Report and asking for interviews, donations, etc. Basically generating awareness and interest.
